SnowRace 2006 was published in the end of last year and it was a kind of christmas present from Czech Game Maker team Fiolasoft. It's a sequel to succesful arcade game SnowRace which had an interesting physics engine. Player is supposed to ride with Santa's sledge through several side-perspective levels. The score can be inceased by picking up presents. The presents are of different colors – and they also function as power-ups here.
SnowRace 2006 is a nice Christmas game. The physics are good for a GM game, pixel art graphics and music at least acceptable. There are some flaws: the game isn't much varied and might get boring quickly. Also there are several bugs (which should be repaired in the upcoming version 1.3). Good work from Fiolasoft...
